Job summary

Exchange People is seeking a Machine Setter for an on-site role at our client's pharmaceutical production facility in Astmoor, Runcorn. The position requires preparation of machines prior to production, adjustments during runs and basic maintenance to keep output steady.

The role operates Monday to Friday with rotating day shifts; early finish on a Friday. The pay rate is £15.67 per hour, and the position is temporary with potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Physically capable and mechanically minded to fault find and rectify issues.

Our client, one of the UK's leading companies in their industry, are looking for a Machine Setter to work on site at their pharmaceutical production facility in Astmoor, Runcorn.

Purpose of Role:

The role of machine setter requires the preparation of machines prior to production to ensure timely and efficient production of high quality product. To perform adjustments mid-production run and perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance to machinery. The role requires a mechanically minded person who can fault find, prioritise and rectify multiple issues on a variety of machinery.

Job Summary & Content:

• Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
• Always adhere to Company Health and Safety policy and GMP.

• Carry out additional duties as required.

The job operates Monday to Friday; Rotating Day Shifts. Early Finish on a Friday!

Shift 1 – 6am until 2.15pm

Shift 2 – 2pm until 10.15pm

The rate of pay is £15.67 per hour.

This is a temporary position, with opportunities to go permanent for the right candidates.
