Job Title: Machine Operator - Nights

Location: Dursley

Pay: £15.20 per hour (depending on department)

Contract Type: Temporary to permanent

A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their growing team. The position is full time on night shift and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract.

About the Role

The successful candidate will join the weaving or yarn department, operating high-speed machines and ensuring all products meet pre‑determined specifications. You'll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to high‑quality textile production.

Shift Pattern

Monday‑Thursday 22:00‑06:00, Friday 20:00‑03:00

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and manage a variety of high-speed machines
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain production standards
  • Log and report any issues with sub‑standard products or machinery
  • Maintain an organised and tidy work environment
  • Adapt quickly to new tasks and ensure flexibility in a fast‑paced setting
