ROLE: Machine Operator

LOCATION: Wellingborough

HOURS OF WORK: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Rotating shift

BASIC SALARY: £16.03

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS: All breaks paid

Company Profile

Our client is seeking a Machine Operator to join their organisation based in Wellingborough on a temporary to permanent basis. To manufacture their formulations to meet planned volumes and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards.

In this Machine Operator role, you will:

  • Operate mixing machines and associated equipment.
  • Set and run various mixing machines.
  • Record and monitor relevant associated data.
  • Maintain an excellent standard of housekeeping.
  • Participate and contribute to daily briefings.
  • Actively participate in safety, quality and continuous improvement activities.
  • Have a sound knowledge of systems and procedures and carry out all work in a safe manner, reporting any issues via the appropriate system.
  • Challenges personal performance and develops own skills and supports the team to deliver consistent results

In order to be successful as a Machine Operator you must:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production environments.
  • Read and understand technical instruction manuals.
  • Excellent verbal communication and team work skills to work with colleagues to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Desire to champion the company values.
  • Logical problem solving skills.
