Job Description

Connect Appointments has a new opportunity for an individual to become a Machine Operator with our established employee‑owned East Kilbride based client. Please note that the successful candidate must have previous Machine Operating experience.

Salary

£35,000 to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Benefits

• Full‑time position, 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Eligibility for the client's profit‑sharing bonus scheme

• Cleaning production machinery
• Informing supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues

Qualifications

To be successful as a Machine Operator you will have previous machine operating experience, ideally in a production, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with a good level of hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity; the ability to read mechanical detail drawings; and great attention to detail. The successful candidate will also have previous experience operating a manual horizontal borer.
