Qualifications

  • Understanding of production procedures.
  • Longevity in previous positions with no gaps or 'job hopping'.
  • Mechanical and analytical skills.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
  • At least High School Diploma or GED Required.
  • Basic math knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).
  • Feed raw material into machines.
  • Test operation of machines periodically.
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.

We are looking for experienced, skilled Machine Operators with a “can-do” attitude to set up, maintain, and operate machinery in our new Florida facility! We are looking for working individuals who are reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Our goal is to ensure that production procedures will be carried out smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

Responsibilities

At Accel, we offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the potential for growth. Our range for this position is $24 – $32 per hour depending on experience and skills. We also have an average annual bonus of $10,000.

We have positions available in our brand new facility in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Shifts Available:

  • 2nd (4pm-12am)
  • 3rd (12am-8am)

Safety Requirements
  • Must wear safety shoes (steel toe), safety eyeglasses, safety ear protections
  • Must participate in company ear testing surveillance
  • Must be able to work with sharp tooling such as scissors, cutters, knives, and other materials required to handle wire
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching
