Overview

Working to production time lines, the Slitting machine operator is responsible for the slitting of all products required for the manufacturing process. After training, you\'ll carry out basic maintenance on this machine, so an intermediate technical knowledge is required. You\'ll also look after the stock control of raw material and submit purchase requisitions as required. It\'ll be essential to possess a good appreciation of Maths to ensure accurate operation of the slitting machine. To deliver and prioritise workload successfully you will build relationships and work closely with other key members of the wider team such as Production Planners, Finishing Machine Operators and Managers.
