Pratt Industries is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Bristol, TN. This role involves setting up, running, and cleaning the machinery, while recommending improvements to operations.

You will monitor product quality, inspect equipment, and maximize throughput. Additional duties include training First/Second Helpers, cross-training on other machines, and timely completion of Production Data, Machine Status, Safety, and Quality reports.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, written and verbal.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and assist in repairs.
• Willingness to learn mechanical setup.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality: liner, warp, size, print.
• Check equipment for damage and maintenance needs.
• Maximize equipment utilization and throughput.
• Train and assist helpers; cross-train on other machines.
• Complete daily production, safety and quality reports.
• Adhere to schedule and suggest improvements.
