Job description

Overview

Machine Operator required on a temporary basis with a view to going permanent for the right candidates after 12 weeks. The main purpose of the Operator role is to operate machinery ensuring production targets are achieved.

Working hours

Monday to Friday double day shifts: Earleys 06:30 - 14:00 Monday to Thursday / 06:30 - 12:30 Friday; Lates 14:00 - 21:45 Monday to Thursday / 12:30 - 17:30 Friday.

Responsibilities

• Load the machine
• Ensure smooth flow of product through the machine
• Monitor each stage of the machine to prevent jams or quality issues
• Quality control and inspection
• Packing from the end of the machine
• Weighing the products
• Boxing
• Labelling
• Palletising
• Work to production targets
• Enter numerical information onto records and PC
• Operate high speed machinery

• Must have previous experience of working with high speed machinery
