Machine Operator

Normanton

PERMANENT

Our client based in the Normanton area, have an immediate requirement to recruit 3 well versed Machine Operators to join their team.

Duties Include:

• Operate the appropriate machinery to produce products of the required quality and within customers' specifications.
• Constantly monitor output to ensure that it is of the standard required, rejecting any that does not meet the standards.
• Take appropriate corrective action to rectify problems as they may occur.
• Make any necessary adjustments to machinery to ensure that the required product quality is maintained.
• Ensure any adjustments made are recorded and documented within the SPC procedures.
• Ensure all relevant information is accurately input into the company's business system for shop floor data collection purposes.
• Carry out the required QA testing to ensure the product meets customers' requirements and strict specifications and accurately record results.
• Ensure the operation of the machinery remains within minimum waste, and quality rejects.
• Assist in the general preventative maintenance of the machine including cleaning of heads etc.

Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of machine operation working to high quality standards.

Shift Pattern

In this permanent role you will be expected to work the following shift pattern:

• Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday DAYS (6am - 6pm)
• Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday NIGHTS (6pm - 6am)
• Week 3 - Monday & Tuesday DAYS, Wednesday OFF, Thursday and Friday Nights

Salary

In return you can expect a starting salary of 26500. For initial training period, you will work DAYS ( Monday to Friday ) 8am - 4:30pm. Once competent on machine, your salary will increase to £28111. After Further training, salary can rise to £30000
