Job description

We are recruiting for a Machine Operator on a permanent full‑time basis to join a specialised manufacturer in Ross on Wye. The successful candidate will come from a hands‑on background, be willing to learn new skills and ideally possess existing experience within a technical role, manufacturing, or machine operating role.

What you can expect
  • £14.30 per hour, including shift allowance
  • Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm, rotating weekly
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays

What you will be doing
  • Operating automated precision PLC machinery
  • Following company SOPs and health & safety requirements
  • Work and communicate with other members of the team to ensure efficient handover
  • Communicate with shift coordinators and leaders to ensure any issues in your designated area are reported
  • Ensure production data is recorded properly and is kept up to date
  • Responsible for maintaining and adhering to site health and safety processes
  • Good Housekeeping of work areas and ensuring any production waste is discarded in the correct manner
  • Undertake flexible working hours to meet deadlines
  • Undertake any additional tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management
