CNC Machine Operator - multiple hire! Various roles

Annual Salary: £12.37/hr up to £18ph, based on skill level

Location: Plymouth

Job Type: Full-time, alternating shifts

Join my clients innovative team as a CNC Machine Operator, where you will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing of precision and complex components for industries such as Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, and Medical. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with specialised machinery in a dynamic and critical sector.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Load and operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.
  • Ensure all components meet the stringent requirements of our diverse client base.
  • Deburr and visually inspect each component to maintain our high standards of production.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while handling specialised machinery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in an engineering or production environment is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours:
  • Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
  • Late Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM (25% shift premium)

  • All overtime will be paid at time & half. Note: Overtime is never guaranteed and will be offered based on orderbook and customer demand.
