The Company: MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Peterlee area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.

The Role

• Load and operate CNC machines safely and efficiently.
• Change pre-set machine programmes as required.
• Use measuring tools such as verniers, tape measures, and micrometres to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Carry out basic checks and follow safe working procedures.
• Learn and develop towards CNC programming with full training provided.

The Person

• Previous machine operating experience is beneficial but not essential — full training provided.
• Ability to read and use measuring equipment confidently.
• A good attitude and reliability to support a busy manufacturing team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on tasks.
• Flexible and adaptable to shift work or changing priorities.
