Job summary

A manufacturing recruitment agency in Leicester Forest East is seeking a Machine Operator for a permanent night shift position. As part of the company's growth, our client is looking for a Machine Operator to join the team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Operating Wickman machines
• Working with a variety of metals to machine small to medium-sized components for the Aerospace industry
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Using manual measuring equipment to self-inspect your own work

Qualifications

• Strong experience within a machining role
• Able to set & operate machinery
• Any knowledge of forging & press machines would be advantageous but not essential
• Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
• Confidence in performing self-inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
