CNC Recruitment are seeking Team Members for our client in Ilminster – a global automotive company.

Department: Various Departments (Casting, Half Cell, Blank Prep, Plating)

Salary: £15.32 per hour, weekly apy

Shift: Double Days

Contract: Temporary on-going, Permanent

Please see below shift pattern for Double Days. All employees will start on day shift for a couple weeks for training.

Week 1

Mon to Weds 05:30am – 15:00pm

Thursdays 05:30am – 14:40pm

Week 2

Mon to Thursday 14:40pm – 23:50pm

Responsibilities:

To receive and check materials for production.

To set machine in accordance with requirements.

To operate a range of engineering manufacturing machinery.

To check and ensure the quality of product is to standard.

To complete records and documentation as required.

To maintain good housekeeping standards.

To report any concerns to the Team Leader.

To ensure an effective handover to following shifts where appropriate.

To work flexibly as part of the manufacturing team and to support other team members as required.

In all activities, to comply with quality, health & safety and environmental rules and policies

Person specification:

Experience of milling, turning or any other engineering machinery operation.

The ability to use measuring equipment such as vernier calipers and micrometers.

Experience of producing a detailed quality product.

The ability to meet high standards on a consistent basis.

A self-motivated and focused attitude.

The ability to work flexibly within the team and to support team members.

The ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings
