Machine Operator – Oswestry

Recruit4staff is recruiting for a leading FMCG company for a permanent Machine Operator role at their facility in Oswestry.

Details
  • Salary: £34,000 per annum (rising to £38,000 after 12 weeks probation)
  • Working pattern: 3 days on / 3 days off, 5.50 am to 5.50 pm (or 5.50 pm to 5.50 am)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Oswestry; commuting possible from Wrexham, Welshpool, Ellesmere, Shrewsbury, Chirk, St Martins etc.
Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery safely to produce the product to the correct customer specification
  • Ensure all Quality Assurance checks are carried out
  • Analyse and adhere to a production plan
  • Picking and packing
  • Work towards production targets
  • Use production IT systems
  • Maintain strict Food Hygiene standards
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment – ESSENTIAL
  • Machine operating experience – ESSENTIAL
  • Food manufacturing experience – DESIRABLE
  • Demonstrable stability in work history
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good computer skills
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and willing to work days and nights
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
