Job summary

A Machine Operative role at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is to operate bagging machinery within the production area, carry out start-up checks before each shift, and help ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. You will monitor machine performance, follow production orders on computer screens, and ensure products are packed to the required quality standards in a safe, clean working environment.

This is a hands-on role with training and potential progression.

Job description

Start Time: 5:30 am (to carry out line start-up checks)

£13.71 per hour during training

£14.71 per hour once fully trained

The Role:

As a Machine Operative, you will play a key role in our production team by operating bagging machinery and helping to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating bagging machines within the production area.
• Carrying out start-up checks on your production line before each shift.
• Monitoring machine performance and achieving production targets.
• Using computer screens to follow production orders and specifications.
• Ensuring products are packed to the required quality standards.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
