A leading convenience food manufacturer in Wisbech is seeking a Machine Operator to manage machine operations, perform quality checks, and ensure optimal performance. Candidates should have prior experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to follow safety protocols. This role offers a competitive hourly wage, training, and benefits package including holidays and a pension scheme.

Here at Wisbech, we have a team of 525 colleagues and manufacture premium chilled ready to cook meals for major retailers such as Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Co‑op.
Machine operators take care of all machine‑specific functions such as configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines, and optimizing the machine capability. They need to ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks. They should be a self‑starter and should be willing to undergo training, if need be, to understand the operations of new equipment. We are looking for individuals who relish the opportunity to work as part of a team in a factory environment.
