Job summary

Thrive Oldham are recruiting on behalf of our well established client in the Oldham area for Machine Operatives. The role includes operating machinery, warehouse duties, and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures. Starting rate £15.50ph rising to £16.50 on training completion and permanent offer.

Shifts are 6-2 and 2-10, with 5 hours on Fridays paid as 5.5 hours. 37.5-hour week with paid meal breaks. Thrive are acting as an Employment Business.

Qualifications

• Machine Operating experience is essential.
• Experience with warehouse duties is desirable.
• Ability to manage and oversee machinery.
• Adherence to health and safety procedures is required.
• Experience inspecting products is preferred.
• Manual handling experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery as required.
• Oversee and manage the machinery during shifts.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Perform product inspection tasks as directed.
• Assist with manual handling tasks as needed.

Machine Operating experience is essential

Starting rate of £15.50ph rising to £16.50 upon completion of training and a perm offer.

The usual shifts so alternating between 6-2 & 2-10 with 5hr days on Fridays but paid for 5.5 (6-11 / 11-4).

37.5hr week with paid meal breaks.
