Machine Operative

Are you looking for a hands‑on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are seeking dedicated Machine Operatives to join our client team based on the Haydock industrial estate.

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the food packaging industry; good hygiene is essential as you will be working with packaging used for fresh fruit, vegetables and other food products.

At first, you will be working alongside a trained technician who is there to support you and show you the ropes and teach you how to maintain and look after the machinery. The expectation of this role is for you to progress and be able to troubleshoot, fault‑find and fix the machinery you’re working with.

Requirements

  • Laminating experience is beneficial but not essential and full training is provided.
Hours and days of Work
  • Monday - Thursday 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00, rotating shifts.
