Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking two Machine Operatives in Bradford for a busy manufacturing site. You will work on the day shift, 37.5 hours per week, 7am to 3pm, on a temporary basis with immediate starts.

Responsibilities include loading machines, operating machinery and saws, basic programming, and handling pallets. Ideal candidates have prior machine operation experience, familiarity with handheld tools, good communication, and the ability to meet targets.

Qualifications

Machine Operative

£12.71p/hr, Day Shift, Mon to Fri, 37.5hrs per week, ASAP starts, Temp role

BRADFORD

I am looking for x2 Machine Operators to work for a busy Manufacturing company based in Bradford, on the Day shift.

The role will involve working in the Machine Shop, assisting in running Machines, Loading and Unloading and Wrapping/Strapping. This is a physical role with a lot of lifting and shifting. Day to day duties within the role will include:

• Loading Machines for use
• Machine and Saw Operation
• Basic Programming
• Stacking, Wrapping and Strapping pallets of stock
• Moving stock around the Warehouse

Key skills needed for this role include:

• Must have previous Machine Op experience
• Experience working with various handheld power tools.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work to targets to ensure delivery schedules are met.
• Good work ethic with knowledge of manual handling skills
• Able to work in a team but equally able to work individually and keep motivated

You will be required to work 37.5hrs per week, 7am to 3pm from Mon to Fri with a Pay Rate of £12.71p/hr. The role is advertised initially as Temporary with immediate starts available.
