Job description
Position Summary

We are looking for Machine Maintenance Engineers at our client's West Yorkshire site in Knottingley.

Rate of Pay: £15.05 per hour.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6am‑2pm. Flexibility may be required to suit factory needs.

Experience

Previous knowledge of working within a glass manufacture plant and/or a 24-hour process environment would be an advantage, however not essential.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machines within the client's Cold End Production Department, ensuring equipment achieves maximum efficiency and manufacturing performance.

In a small team, you will also clean, check, repair and refurbish spares to ensure availability and minimise downtime.

Qualifications

Fully apprentice-trained and possess a good level of Maths and English.

Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a pro‑active and flexible approach.

Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise workload and communicate effectively at all levels.

May be required to undertake an aptitude test to demonstrate skills.
