Qualifications

• 2+ years’ commercial experience building highly technical software.
• PhD in a relevant field is acceptable.
• Extensive experience in specific technical areas.
• Experience with generative AI methodologies and geometry processing algorithms.
• Proficiency with Python and modern ML frameworks (JAX or PyTorch).

Responsibilities

• Own projects from ideation to deployment.
• Build and ship technical software products.
• Develop optimisation and simulation capabilities.

WHO WE ARE:

We are an early-stage, venture-backed deep-tech company building an AI-powered, CAD-like software platform transforming how complex physical systems are engineered.

Our work sits at the intersection of AI, robotics and simulation, supporting customers across robotics integration, lab automation and advanced industrial systems.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

This is a hands‑on engineering role with significant product influence.

You will work directly with the CTO and senior leadership to design and deploy core product capabilities.

Responsibilities will include:

• Owning projects end-to-end – from ideation through to deployment
• Building and shipping highly technical software products for SMB and enterprise customers
• Developing advanced optimisation, simulation and control capabilities
• Contributing to generative AI functionality within engineering workflows
• Working directly with customers to understand real‑world engineering challenges
• Helping define technical standards, architecture and product direction

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

2+ years’ commercial experience building highly technical software

OR a PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, ECE or similar

Strong experience in one or more of the following:

• Numerical optimisation
• Physical simulation / scientific computing
• Advanced robotic control systems
• Generative AI methodologies
• Geometry processing algorithms

Technical capability with:

• Python
• JAX OR PyTorch

NICE TO HAVE:

• Start‑up experience as an early engineering hire
• C++ OR C#
• CUDA kernel programming for GPU acceleration
