Job summary

Understanding Recruitment is partnering with an ambitious technology company to hire a Machine Learning Engineer with excellent software engineering fundamentals.

This role goes beyond notebooks: you will deploy ML models, build backend services and APIs with FastAPI/Flask/Django, and own production-grade AI systems.

You should be fluent in Python, familiar with PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn, and comfortable with AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, CI/CD, testing and clean architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Python experience and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building backend services and APIs using FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure, Docker and CI/CD.
• A strong understanding of scalable systems, testing and clean architecture.

Strong Python engineer who knows how to make AI work in production?

I'm partnering with an ambitious technology company looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with excellent software engineering fundamentals.

This isn't a traditional research or Data Science role. We're looking for someone who can take ML models beyond notebooks and build scalable, reliable, production-grade AI systems.

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial Python experience and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building backend services and APIs using FastAPI, Flask or Django.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure, Docker and CI/CD.
• A strong understanding of scalable systems, testing and clean architecture.

We're particularly interested in ML Engineers with strong backend skills or Python Software Engineers with production ML experience.
