Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking a Mechanical Build Technician to manufacture specialised machinery in a clean, modern facility. You will join a skilled team responsible for building machine systems end-to-end from start to finish.

The role requires experience in system build, precise fitting to tight tolerances, pneumatics knowledge, and the ability to read engineering drawings. An engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics.
• Proven ability to assemble and fit components to tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of pneumatics is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble special purpose machinery.
• Build machine systems from start to finish within a clean manufacturing facility.
• Work as part of a skilled team of technicians to ensure quality builds.
• Follow drawings, schematics and process instructions to meet specifications.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Build Technician, your main role would be to manufacture special purpose machinery. You will be part of a highly skilled team of technicians that build and assembles various types of their special purpose machinery. You will be working in clean modern manufacturing facility. You will be required to build machine systems from start to finish.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience of system build
• Detail precision fitting
• Ability to work to tight very tight tolerances
• Knowledge of pneumatics is essential
• Must be able to read engineering drawings and schematics

Qualifications:

• Engineering Apprenticeship
• Or any other relevant engineering qualifications

Hours of Work:

Day Shift: 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.00 to 1.00pm

Early Shift: 6.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 6.00am to 11.00am

Late Shift: 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 11.00am to 4.00pm
