Job summary

Reply is seeking an M365 Consultant to apply expertise in information protection, data security and compliance. You will work within a delivery team to implement secure Microsoft 365 environments, govern data across collaboration platforms, analytics environments and emerging AI use cases.

The role is hybrid, based in Manchester or London, and involves collaboration with client IT and security teams, workshops, and clear communication of risks and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams administration, and Microsoft Entra ID fundamentals.
• Practical experience implementing Purview Information Protection, DLP, retention, or compliance policies.
• Proven track record of delivering projects or platform changes, beyond routine operational support.
• Exposure to Defender for Cloud Apps, including data visibility, sharing controls, or policy configuration, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Microsoft Purview solutions, including sensitivity labels, encryption, DLP, retention labels, and records management across Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Support data discovery, classification, and protection initiatives to enhance information security and compliance.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of Defender for Office 365 policies.
• Configure Defender for Cloud Apps to monitor data sharing and identify risky user or data activities.
• Maintain awareness of endpoint risk and integrate Defender for Endpoint with Conditional Access and Zero Trust strategies.
• Gain exposure to advanced data protection scenarios such as Insider Risk Management and eDiscovery.
• Configure and secure Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams, and support identity management using Entra ID.
• Contribute to data governance across analytics platforms in environments like Microsoft Fabric and Data Lake.
• Collaborate with client IT and security teams, support workshops and technical discussions, and communicate risks effectively.
