Job summary

EDF is seeking an experienced M365 Platform Specialist to lead the Microsoft 365 platform services, guiding engineering decisions and delivering secure, scalable digital workplace solutions. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering across the Productivity and Collaboration toolset, with a strong emphasis on governance and security.

The position offers hybrid working with the majority of time spent remote and travel to an EDF office once per month.

• Expertise in the M365 Productivity and Collaboration toolset, with a focus on MS Teams, Exchange Online & SharePoint/OneDrive.

• Applying governance and security principles to platform delivery.
• Must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC) and British residency for the last five years.

The Opportunity

As an M365 Platform Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping and evolving the platforms that support our digital workplace. You'll provide technical leadership across Microsoft 365 services, guiding engineering decisions, driving platform improvements, and helping deliver the secure, scalable solutions that support our journey towards An Electric Britain.

You'll join us on a salary starting of £50,000 per annum. The majority of this role will be home working, with travel to one of our EDF offices once per month. This means you can be based anywhere in the UK while benefiting from flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Working closely with Product, Security, Architecture and Operations teams, you'll have the opportunity to influence platform strategy, drive continuous improvement, and help deliver modern workplace capabilities that enhance productivity and user experience across the organisation.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.
