Ravensearch has partnered with a Manchester-based, established M&E building services contractor to appoint a Work Winning Director. You will own the pipeline, bid strategy and market approach from opportunity through to contract award, leading a cross-functional team and senior client relationships.
Salary of £80,000–£95,000 plus a profit-related bonus and a full benefits package, with director-level influence over how work is pursued and presented to the market.
Our client, an established M&E building services contractor in Manchester, is looking for a M&E Work Winning Director to take ownership of the pipeline and bid function. It is a director-level appointment with genuine influence over which work the business pursues and how it goes to market, working from an existing client base, established framework positions and a strong delivery track record.
You would own how the business goes to market: the work winning strategy, the tender and bid process, the framework positions it holds and pursues, and the senior client relationships that sit behind them. It is a director-level appointment with real influence over which work the business chases and how it presents itself, working closely with the operational, commercial and estimating teams rather than at arm’s length from them.
The business now sits within a well-funded national technical services group with a clear growth strategy, so there is genuine appetite and resource behind this. Salary is £80,000 to £95,000 depending on experience, plus a profit related bonus and a full benefits package.
Our client is an established M&E building services contractor based in Manchester, delivering mechanical and electrical engineering projects across a broad client base, with a smaller planned and reactive maintenance arm alongside. Their clients span commercial and corporate estates, retail, banking, education, healthcare, social housing, industrial and public sector, including a number of nationally recognised organisations and long-standing framework relationships.
The business sits within a well-funded national technical services group with a clear growth strategy, which gives this role real resource behind it: an integrated offer to take to market, opportunities to collaborate and cross-sell across the group, and a backer with genuine appetite for expansion.
Environmental performance is treated seriously rather than presentationally, with ISO 14001 compliance and a committed net zero target supported by a formal carbon reduction plan, which increasingly matters in public sector and framework submissions.
