Job summary

A healthcare support services company in London is seeking a permanent M&E Technician (Mechanical Bias) to maintain vital systems. Responsibilities include routine maintenance on HVAC and water systems, performing emergency repairs, and acting as a Competent Person for mechanical systems. Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, experience in maintenance, and a strong understanding of Health & Safety standards. Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance & fault finding required.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards essential.

Job description

M&E Technician (Mechanical Bias) to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. You'll be part of a skilled, supportive team keeping vital healthcare systems running safely and efficiently.

Role
  • Routine mechanical PPM on HVAC, boilers, water systems & building services
  • Reactive maintenance & emergency repairs
  • Diagnose faults and clear blockages in plumbing & drainage systems
  • Act as Authorised/Competent Person (AP/CP) for mechanical systems
  • Participate in an on-call rota (1 week per month)
What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance & fault finding
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards
  • Healthcare or hospital experience (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
