Overview

Are you a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor with main or subcontractor experience on rail projects?

Location: West London (4 days on site, 1 day from home)

Rate: £550 to £650 per day INSIDE IR35/UMBRELLA

Contract Length: 12 months

This is an exciting opportunity to support a leading contractor working on major HS2 works. The successful candidate will support the MEP function of this project, focusing on commercial management, cost control, and subcontractor oversight. You\'ll take ownership of financial reporting, procurement, and contract administration within a fast-paced rail infrastructure environment.

You\'ll be responsible for preparing and managing valuations, cost/value reconciliations, and accurate financial forecasting to ensure commercial control across the project. You will lead on procurement activities, including the production of detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and oversee the administration and management of NEC3 Option A & C (ECC) contracts.

The role involves conducting regular subcontractor audits, managing monthly reporting, and supporting the preparation and negotiation of subcontractor packages through to final account.

You\'ll also play a key part in supporting risk and value management processes while ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and strong commercial governance across project teams.
