Qualifications

• Experience in a recruitment or sales-driven environment — M&E recruitment experience is a strong advantage.
• Alternatively, a background in mechanical or electrical engineering with an interest in recruitment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a proactive approach to business development.
• A genuine interest in the construction and engineering sector.
• Based in or willing to commute to Belfast city centre.

Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and manage candidates across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Build and develop relationships with clients including contractors and consultancies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial brief through to placement and aftercare.
• Develop a strong understanding of the M&E market including key projects, trends, and talent pools.
• Proactively generate new business through client engagement and referrals.
• Maintain accurate records across the CRM and provide regular updates on pipeline activity.
• Represent GEDON professionally in the market.
