Job summary

Rogers McHugh are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their established team in Wakefield. You will manage the commercial delivery of M&E/building services projects from award through to final account, across the UK.

The role covers cost control, valuations, variations and subcontractor procurement, with exposure to COINS and a clear path for progression within a forward‑looking contractor.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying experience within an M&E or Building Services environment
• Experience managing valuations, variations and final accounts
• Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement and account management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• COINS experience advantageous but not essential
• Relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualification beneficial but not essential

Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor specialising in Mechanical & Electrical, Fit Out and Construction projects across the UK.

Working within the M&E division, you will take responsibility for the commercial delivery of M&E projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Projects range from £100k to £10m across the retail, commercial, industrial, leisure and hospitality sectors, offering excellent variety and long-term career development opportunities.

The Role

Joining an established business, you will work closely with operational teams to manage the commercial delivery of Mechanical & Electrical projects from award through to final account.

You will be responsible for maintaining commercial control across multiple live projects, producing accurate reporting and supporting successful project delivery.
