£65,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance + 34 days holiday + Progression

A rare and exciting opportunity for a Mechanical and Electrical expert to join a thriving contractor working on a variety of high-value refurbishment projects. This is a progressive role where you will hold a managerial position with the autonomy to make it your own.

This well-established contractor is a market leader in multi-storey car park construction, offering full design, production, and build services for steel car park structures. Originating from Europe, they have expanded across the UK over the last 15 years, working throughout England, Scotland, and Wales. They pride themselves on quality and service. Due to growth, they are now seeking an M&E specialist.

This role is ideal for an ambitious individual with a strong electrical background and some mechanical knowledge, looking to step into a new position with clear progression to directorship.

In this role, you will ensure that the Mechanical and Electrical components of projects are well-coordinated, meet quality standards, and are completed within budget and schedule. Your duties will include pre-construction tasks such as collaborating with M&E consultants to ensure accurate and practical drawings, as well as overseeing installation during construction to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background with mechanical knowledge, experience managing external M&E consultants, and a desire to advance into a senior role within a growing main contractor.

The Role:

1. Managing M&E design and installation
2. Collaborating with external M&E consultants to ensure drawing accuracy
3. Managing M&E subcontractors
4. Ensuring installations meet drawings, quality standards, and compliance

The Person:

• Electrical qualification and background
• Some mechanical knowledge
• Experience working on construction projects
• Experience liaising with M&E consultants and overseeing contractors
• Full UK driving license
