M&E Contract Manager

Overview

We are representing a well-established and reputable M&E contractor who are seeking an experienced M&E Contract Manager to join their London operations. The company delivers projects across the commercial, healthcare, education and data centre sectors, with a strong reputation for quality, client relationships and repeat business.

This position offers a balanced portfolio of responsibility, overseeing 3-4 live projects with Project Managers reporting into you.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently working as a Project Manager ready to step up, or an experienced Contract Manager looking for a more stable workload and improved work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of multiple projects running concurrently
  • Lead, mentor and support project managers and delivery teams
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, supply chain and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to quality standards
  • Review design, technical submissions and project documentation
  • Drive commercial performance including forecasting, variations and cost tracking
  • Attend progress meetings and represent the company professionally
  • Support procurement strategies and oversee supply chain compliance
  • Promote best practice, continuous improvement and strong team culture
Requirements
  • Strong background in managing M&E projects with a contractor
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors: commercial, healthcare, education or data centres
  • Ability to manage teams across multiple live sites
  • Good technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Strong commercial awareness and reporting ability
  • Confident communicator with client-facing experience
  • Leadership mindset, organised and proactive
