Local Authority is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Compliance Manager to lead the compliance and performance of M&E across a large housing portfolio. This interim role requires oversight of electrical, gas, water, lifts and related services, ensuring statutory obligations are met and contractors perform to agreed KPIs.

You will manage budgets and maintenance schedules, drive health & safety, and collaborate with Housing, Repairs, Building Safety and Sustainability teams to deliver

Formación

• Experience managing contractors and supply-chain partners.
• Experience undertaking procurement exercises and contract management.
• Current experience within a Local Authority or Housing Association environment.
• Strong knowledge of building safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• Proven track record delivering compliance across housing portfolios.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of M&E compliance programmes across housing assets.
• Ensure full compliance with electrical, gas, water, lifts and related building services.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and compliance schedules.
• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring quality standards, KPIs and compliance requirements.
• Procure specialist services and support contract procurement activities as needed.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance and value for money across compliance contracts.
• Drive a strong health and safety culture across all activities.
• Produce performance reports and compliance data for senior management.
• Work collaboratively with Housing, Repairs, Building Safety and Maintenance teams.
• Support sustainability initiatives and the transition to low-carbon technologies.
