Our client is a high-growth, Private Equity backed telecommunications business embarking on a significant buy-and-build strategy. With over £200 million of committed capital to deploy over the coming years, the business is targeting strategic acquisitions across the UK and Europe to accelerate expansion, diversify its service offering, and strengthen its market position.

This is a genuine opportunity to join at the sharp end of a high-growth strategy, shaping the deal pipeline, working directly with the Board and investors, and seeing transactions through from origination to integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Origination & Pipeline Management
    • Proactively source, screen, and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities in line with the company’s growth strategy.
    • Build and maintain relationships with advisers, bankers, brokers, and industry contacts to support deal flow.
    • Conduct initial assessments, market mapping, and strategic fit analysis of potential targets.
  • Transaction Execution
    • Lead financial modelling, valuation, and commercial analysis to support investment decisions.
    • Support due diligence processes (financial, legal, commercial, operational), coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisers.
    • Draft and present investment papers to the Board and Investment Committee.
    • Assist in structuring and negotiating transaction terms.
  • Post-Deal Integration Support
    • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of value post-acquisition.
    • Track performance of acquired businesses against initial investment theses.
  • Strategic Input
    • Contribute to the ongoing development of the M&A strategy, market prioritisation, and value creation plans.
    • Support the PE investors and management team with regular reporting and portfolio insights.
Essential Experience
  • Background in Investment Banking, Transaction Services (Big 4), or in-house Corporate Development / M&A.
  • Solid transaction experience, ideally with exposure to mid-market buy-side or sell-side deals.
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Experience managing due diligence processes and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and play a key role in shaping the inorganic growth strategy of a rapidly scaling platform.
