District Nurse Team Leader

Band 7 – 37 hours per week

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a District Nurse Team Leader for the South Locality Community Nursing Teams within Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership. This is a permanent post designed to strengthen collaboration and ensure consistent leadership across the locality.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week and be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of South Torry and South Airyhall Community Nursing Teams, providing effective leadership, supervision, and support to ensure high‑quality, person‑centred care is delivered across the community.

Successful candidates will also be supported through a structured preceptorship programme to aid their transition and professional development.

Qualifications

Candidates should be motivated to lead very busy teams with energy, innovation and compassion, aspiring for continuous quality improvement and transformational change.

Candidates should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and be keen to further develop leadership and management qualities.

Car owner/driver with current driving licence required.
