  • Experience with large boiler plants is ideal.
  • Ability to write and apply risk assessments and method statements.

Job description
Job Overview

Equans Embedded Energy operates multiple customer sites with large-scale embedded energy capacity across the UK, providing specialist management of onsite generation for industrial processes and the ability to export to the Grid. We combine multiple technologies to meet our customers' specific needs, and provide design, build, operate and maintenance services. Our skills and expertise can help industrial businesses to achieve their carbon reduction goals. We are experts in many technologies, including combined heat and power (CHP), biomass, and energy from waste. By locating generation on customers' sites we provide our customers with industry leading safety management, reduced energy costs and carbon footprint and assured energy security for their operational needs.

Key Activities
  • Operation and maintenance of HTHW boilers and 11kV electrical generating plant
  • Mechanical maintenance of pumps, valves, water systems
  • Management of LV/HV distribution systems and safety document control systems
  • Use of IT monitoring systems
  • Electrical qualifications required
  • Willingness to undertake LV/HV AP accreditation training
  • Adhere to Permit to Work System
  • Maintain health and safety documentation
