The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Chef Apprentice to join our Kitchen Team. You will work alongside experienced chefs, gaining hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards while pursuing professional development.

This apprenticeship offers practical training across kitchen sections, opportunities to develop culinary skills, and a path into a luxury hospitality career.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with the preparation and cooking of food to hotel standards.
• Support the kitchen team with mise en place and daily food preparation tasks.
• Develop understanding of different cooking methods, ingredients and presentation techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas, equipment and storage spaces.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing deliveries as needed.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen colleagues to support smooth service operations.
• Strive to minimise food waste and contribute to sustainable kitchen practices.
