Job summary

A well-established specialist contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager for high-end interior and heritage projects across the UK. The role involves managing multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high quality, cost control, and client satisfaction. Applicants should possess a minimum of two years' project management experience in the construction sector and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years project management experience within construction or a related interiors sector.
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience.
  • Confident reading and interpreting drawings and programmes.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a specialist sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously from commencement to completion.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams and resources to ensure works are delivered on time.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety, and site presentation.
  • Act as the primary client-facing representative, building strong working relationships.
  • Review and interpret client drawings and programmes, producing sub-programmes.
  • Oversee commercial performance including cost control and final accounts.
  • Coordinate material requirements and site deliveries in line with project programmes.
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments as required.
