Job summary

Stock Exchange Hotel in Manchester seeks a friendly Food & Beverage Team Member to warmly welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages to a high standard. You will clear tables, assist with beverage preparation, and handle payments using the POS system.

Full training is provided. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and strong teamwork to deliver exceptional guest service within a historic landmark setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food and beverage is preferred but training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks to a high standard.
• Set up and clear tables, ensuring dining areas are clean and well-presented.
• Prepare beverages, including tea, coffee, and bar drinks where applicable.
• Process payments and operate the till/POS system.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel team to deliver exceptional guest service.
