Job summary

Rudding Park in Harrogate is seeking a commercially driven Corporate Events Sales Executive to join the Sales & Events team, focusing on corporate business, conferences, meetings, and high-value group bookings. You will convert enquiries into confirmed business and grow revenue from current clients and accounts.

You will engage with businesses, event agencies and senior decision-makers, positioning Rudding Park as a leading destination for corporate meetings and large events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience selling to corporate clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of corporate and large-event enquiries from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking.
• Respond quickly and professionally to enquiries, identifying objectives, requirements, budget and decision-making process.
• Follow up all proposals and opportunities to maximise conversion.
• Prepare compelling and commercially focused proposals and quotations.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits, presenting facilities and event capabilities.
• Negotiate with clients within commercial parameters to secure profitable business.
• Identify opportunities to increase average booking value and total event spend.
