Stella McCartney is seeking a skilled seamstress to join our London design studio. You will work closely with the pattern maker to develop high-end samples and toiles, cutting and preparing fabrics for sewing, and ensuring samples meet exact specifications for VIP and archive pieces.

The role requires precise hand sewing, thoughtful attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced luxury fashion environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hand sewing and finishing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Comfortable adapting to changing studio demands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pattern maker to create high-end samples and toiles.
• Cut samples and prepare fabrics for sewing; fuse fabrics if needed.
• Produce samples on schedule to exact specifications.
• Press and finish samples, toiles, vintage or archive pieces.
