You’ll handle dishwashing, equipment cleaning, stock support, and basic food prep where needed, with a 40-hour week across five days. Starting pay £13 per hour plus service charge and benefits, with opportunities for training and development.

Responsibilities

• The role of Kitchen Porter at Woodlands Park Hotel is essential in supporting the delivery of an exceptional dining experience by ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen brigade, the Kitchen Porter plays a key role in maintaining a smooth day-to-day kitchen operation.
• Responsibilities include maintaining immaculate hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, dishwashing, cleaning equipment, and keeping back-of-house areas organised and well-presented.
• Support chefs by ensuring equipment, utensils, and service items are clean, available, and ready for use at all times.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required, monitoring waste disposal, adhering to health and safety and food hygiene regulations, and supporting stock organisation and deliveries.
• Contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen while upholding the hotel’s standards of excellence in luxury hospitality.
