The role

In this role, you will be one of the faces of the store, welcoming customers to the till desk and providing a fun, engaging shopping experience for the end of their journey. You will use knowledge to offer additional products based on the customers basket choices and help showcase our seasonal best sellers at the till point. Working closely with the other till assistants, you will help drive sales, exceed targets, and create memorable moments that keep customers coming back. You will also manage the till area to make sure it looks its best, and stock till displays to seasonal trends. With flexible shifts, a competitive hourly rate based on the Living Wage, and opportunities for bonuses, you will be well‑supported through training and development to grow your skills.

Key Information
  • Hours available: 8‑16 hours per week
  • Availability: Candidates must have Saturday and Sunday full day availability

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming store environment when they approach the till.
  • Engage with customers to validate their purchases, provide them with exceptional customer service until the moment they leave and be able to add on additional products whilst at the till.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by using in‑depth product knowledge and offering tailored samples.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing till area.
  • Support the store’s sales targets by promoting products creatively and working as part of a team to exceed goals.
  • Manage stock levels efficiently, ensuring till point displays are well‑stocked and ready for our customers to shop from.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with the team to foster an inclusive, respectful working environment, contributing to the overall customer experience.
