Job description

Diversity matters

We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It's what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.

We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!

Who we are

You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family‑run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.

The Living Wage Foundation’s statement “a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay” is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it’s what’s inside that counts—whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.

The role

In this role, you’ll be part of a hardworking team responsible for keeping our shop well stocked and replenished through the busy festive period. While on the shop floor you will be welcoming customers and providing help if needed. You’ll be helping to keep our back‑of‑house logistics running smoothly by accepting deliveries, transporting stock from the stock room to the shop floor and keeping the standards of the store as high as possible. With flexible shifts, a competitive hourly rate based on the Living Wage, and opportunities for bonuses, you’ll be well‑supported through training and development to grow your skills.

Key Information

Hours available: 12–16 hours a week.

Availability: Candidates must have full‑day availability on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (full day is 9 am–6 pm).

Application Deadline: 30 / 10 / 25.

Trial Shifts and Interviews: Week commencing 27 / 10 / 25.

Training: On the job as you go!

Start Date: 3 / 11 / 25.

Please note: We may close this vacancy early if we receive an overwhelming response or our business requirements change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accepting deliveries in our external stock room and putting the new stock away in the correct place.
  • Replenishing the shop floor to make sure we never have stock missing or gaps in the displays.
  • Staying on top of the back‑of‑house areas so that the staff areas remain clean and safe.
  • Organising online click‑and‑collect orders as they come in.
  • Moving stock between the stock room and the shop floor. This job entails a high amount of manual handling where the individual will be on their feet for long periods of time.
Skills and Experience

Customer Experience: Embrace a true passion for delivering exceptional customer service, inspiring your team to radiate positivity and create memorable 5‑star experiences. Our stores are designed to be havens of kindness, aiming to make every customer’s day unforgettable. As a Sales Assistant, your vibrant role significantly contributes to infusing this warmth into every customer interaction.

Teamwork: Fill the shop floor with positivity, teaming up with your colleagues to achieve goals and cultivate a work environment that nurtures continuous team growth. Your role as a Sales Assistant revolves around making teamwork an instinctive and joyful experience.

Communication: Great communication should be part of your daily routine, ensuring information effortlessly circulates throughout the store. Foster collaboration with colleagues, your manager, and nearby stores by keeping communication open and respectful. As a Sales Assistant, your knack for maintaining a positive and approachable communication flow contributes uniquely to the team’s success on the shop floor.
