Job summary

Burnham-on-Sea Infant School is seeking a caring Lunch Break Supervisor to join our team and help provide a safe, sociable lunchtime for pupils, including those with high needs in the SEND Unit. You will assist during the 11:30–12:45 lunch period, support dining hall routines, supervise play, and help create a calm, happy environment.

The role is permanent, 6.25 hours per week over 38 weeks (term time only).

Qualifications

• Flexible, calm and well organised.
• Able to take the initiative and work well with a team.
• Sensitive towards the needs of all pupils.
• Approachable and a good communicator.
• Positive, playful, and ready to brighten up lunchtime.
• Experience of working in schools supporting lunchtimes would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities
