Job summary

Thrussington Church of England Primary School is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils during lunch breaks and supervise post-lunch activities on and around school grounds. The role runs 11.50am–12.50pm, five days a week, over 39 weeks, with a fixed term until December 2026.

You’ll work under safeguarding guidelines and contribute to a safe, supportive dining and play environment. Key duties include supervising eating areas, assisting with clearing, ensuring safe conduct,

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunch in the eating area.
• Assist and supervise clearing away and tidying the eating area.
• Supervise pupils after lunch inside or outside, ensuring health and safety.
• Maintain good order and discipline, handling incidents appropriately.
• Attend to accidents in the playground following school procedures.
• Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.
