Job summary

Rye Community Primary School in East Sussex is seeking a reliable Midday Supervisor to join our friendly, supportive team. The role runs daily during lunch breaks (11:45–13:00) for 6.25 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, with a permanent contract.

You will help supervise pupils, promote positive behaviour and contribute to a calm, safe dining and play environment. We value individuals who enjoy working with children, can communicate effectively, and work well as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in working as a Midday Supervisor.
• Experience with and care for children.
• Ability to enforce positive behaviour management.
• Willingness to work across the curriculum.
• Good communication and team-working.
• Integrity, optimism and good humour.
