Job summary

St Nicholas Catholic Primary School in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a caring, active lunchtime supervisor to join our team. You will supervise children in the dining hall and playground, lead play activities and support a safe, happy lunchtime experience.

You may administer basic First Aid (training provided if necessary), help children eat, promote good manners and encourage independence, while modelling professionalism and courtesy within our faith-driven community.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates caring, active and friendly demeanor with children.
• Professional and polite role model for pupils.
• Ability to work well as part of a school team.

Job description

We are looking to appoint a caring, active and friendly lunchtime supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to work with children. You will be responsible for supervising children in the dinner hall and playground, leading play activities and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all our children. This may include administering basic First Aid (training will be provided if necessary) and cleaning up the dining area after service. In addition, you will be required to help children eat their lunch, promote good manners and develop their independent skills. You must be professional and polite at all times; proving to be a good role model for our children.
