A local education authority is seeking an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor and Extended Schools Assistant for a part-time, term-time only position. The role involves supporting the after school provision and ensuring a safe, caring environment for children during lunchtimes. Candidates should ideally have a qualification in childcare, but those with relevant skills and passion are encouraged to apply. This is a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2026.
The Heath Academy Trust and Sixpenny Handley First School and Nursery are excited to be looking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor and Extended Schools Assistant to assist in the day to day running of the School’s after school provision. The successful applicant will ideally have a relevant NQV3 childcare qualification or currently be working towards one; however, we will consider all applicants with appropriate skills, passion and commitment for these roles.
Support the day to day running of the school’s after school provision during term-time. Provide a safe, caring environment for children during lunchtimes and after school activities, working as part of a friendly and dedicated team committed to high standards.

This role is on a term-time only basis for 10.25 hours per week: 2:45pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday, and 2:45pm to 4:00pm on Friday. This is a fixed term contract until 31 August 2026, possibly with the option to extend. The successful applicant should want to play a full part in the life of the school as part of a friendly and dedicated team who are committed to high standards.
